Tungsten is designed to integrate into your existing toolchain. Choose the installation method that aligns with your current development environment.

Installation

Rokit

Add Tungsten to your rokit.toml:

rokit add pwnwrkz/tungsten

Aftman

Add Tungsten to your aftman.toml:

aftman add pwnwrkz/tungsten

Mise

Use mise-en-place to manage your Tungsten version:

Cargo

If you have the Rust toolchain installed:

cargo install tungsten-cli

Naming Note

The package is published as tungsten-cli on crates.io to avoid conflicts. Once installed, the CLI command is simply tungsten.

Recommended

If you are working on a team project, we highly recommend using a toolchain manager (like Rokit or Aftman). This ensures that every developer on your team uses the exact same version of Tungsten, eliminating “it works on my machine” issues.

Verification

Once installed, verify that the binary is correctly linked to your system path by checking the version:

tungsten --version

If successful, you will see the current version:
